The Future of Transportation in California?

Some are proposing a high speed train linking San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and San Diego. It looks like a really cool idea, helping to minimize carbon emissions and facilitating efficient and fast transportation (SF to LA in two hours!).
