Mooncakes

NPR reports that California health officials are raising concern over the safety of mooncakes, saying that unrefrigerated, they are a breeding ground for bacteria. This sounds more like officials with too much time on their hands and who are afraid of any sort of “exotic ethnic” cuisine. I don’t see them recommending donuts be refrigerated.
