Google Sky
Google’s now got Google Sky, which is the same thing as Earth, except you can scan the night sky and zoom in on your favorite Messier objects. It’s basically a powerful planetarium on your computer, and it’s pretty sweet. To get it, you have to download the latest version of Google Earth.

Ancient Gum
Archaeologists say they’ve found ancient chewing gum in Finland. Among other artifacts, they foundĀ Stone Age birch-bark tar that they say was used for chewing and to fix broken arrowheads and dishes. Now that’s long lasting gum.

Robosquirrels, Islamic Science, and a Stellar Tail
